2. Hosting and server logs
Our website is hosted by STRATO. When you visit it, technical connection data may be processed, including your IP address, date and time, requested pages, browser details and status information. This processing is necessary to provide a secure and reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Exact retention periods depend on the STRATO hosting configuration and still require verification.
3. Contact by email
When you email us, we process your email address and the information in your message to respond to your enquiry. Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the information when it is no longer required, unless legal retention obligations apply.
4. Project films: Vimeo and YouTube
Our project films may be played using Vimeo or YouTube. We only load the external video player after you explicitly choose to consent and play the video. At that point, a connection to the provider may be established and your IP address and technical usage data may be transmitted. Cookies or similar technologies may also be used. The legal basis for loading external video content is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, Section 25 TDDDG). The providers are Vimeo.com, Inc. and Google Ireland Limited (YouTube). Transfers of data to countries outside the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out. You can choose not to play the videos without affecting the rest of the website.
5. Donations via Betterplace
Our website links to the external donation platform Betterplace. Your data is processed on that platform under its own privacy policy once you follow the link. We do not currently operate an embedded online donation form on this website.
6. Cookies and analytics
We do not currently use visitor analytics or marketing tracking services. Technically necessary login cookies may be used for logged-in WordPress users. External video providers may use their own technologies after you consent to playback.
7. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht).
8. Updates
We will update this policy when additional features or external services, such as an integrated donation form, are introduced.
