Cape Town 2019
Together with AMANDLA, a protected outdoor space was created at the Safe-Hub for small groups, movement, values-based learning and connection.
The first Social Landscaping project
In 2019, Social Landscaping travelled to Cape Town for its first project. Together with AMANDLA, we created an outdoor area close to the Safe-Hub that complements its educational work around team sports and personal development.
The new space provides room for small-group activities, movement, conversation and retreat. It established the principle that still guides our work today: we plan and build with local partners so that the place continues to be used and developed after our team leaves.
