Playing, discovering and creating something together

Three weeks of building together

In January 2025, a Social Landscaping team worked at the Bata ng Calabnugan children’s home in Sibulan on the island of Negros. Together with staff and children, we built a large adventure playground, a bridge, a water wheel with a filtration system and a greenhouse.

The different elements expand opportunities for play and learning while also supporting the home’s efforts towards greater self-sufficiency. The project was shaped by practical collaboration and by adapting ideas directly on site.
